Action
Suu Balm Gentle Moisturising Anti-Dandruff Shampoo: Skin barrier protection: people with eczema have a defective skin barrier which can be further weakened and irritated by soap, SLS, SLES. Suu Balm Shampoo is formulated with the most gentle surfactant (Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate & Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate) and 3 different moisturising ingredients (Butylene Glycol, Panthenol & Polyquaternium-10) to ensure it will not cause irritation or sensitisation for eczema prone or sensitive scalp.
Cleansing action: it is nonetheless necessary for people with eczema to cleanse the skin of irritants and dirt, which Suu Balm Shampoo achieve in the most gentle way possible.
Itch Relief: Breaks the itch-scratch cycle by stopping itch driven by the 0.8% menthol, which activates skin neuron TRPM8 receptors, blocking the afferent itch signals.
Reduction of flaking: the combination of 3x anti dandruff actives reduces flaking in 7 days by creating an enhanced anti-mycotic effect to inhibit growth of yeast (cause of dandruff), microbes & bacteria (which may lead to odour).
Suu Balm Rapid Itch Relief Scalp Spray Moisturiser: Itch Relief: Breaks the itch-scratch cycle by stopping itch within 5 minutes of application; this effect is driven by the 3% menthol, which activates skin neuron TRPM8 receptors, blocking the afferent itch signals.
Moisturising: 5 types of skin identical ceramides and linoleic & linolenic acid repair the defect in atopic and dry skin barriers, improving barrier function.
Reduction of flaking: piroctone olamine has antifungal properties, which helps to control malasezzia colonisation of the scalp, and therefore helps to control dandruff and flaking.
